Two Facilities fully equipped enable Curtis Kelly to provide the wide range of custom products from stainless steel and high alloys which our customers require. The south side of Houston facility is located on a seven acre site with a 70 foot by 240 foot building that houses two overhead cranes capable of lifting 120,000 lbs. Shipment of items up to 400 tons is accommodated by contract services. With door sizes of 24 foot by 24 foot and a crane hook height of 30 feet, we can ship items up 20 feet in diameter by 180 feet in length.

Our Ship Channel Facility is located on Greens Bayou.  There are two bays, each 100 feet wide by 400 feet long.  100 ton capacity cranes are in each bay with 90 feet under hook.  Outside contract service companies can be used to lift equipment in excess of 1 million pounds.  This facility has two barge slips on site.  Deep water access is available within ½ mile and can be reached without the need for transport on city or county roads.  This eliminates the need for state or city transportation permits which can be very costly and time consuming. Long Term Storage is also available if needed. This location provides unlimited fabrication opportunities.

Both plants are equipped to roll plate up to 1-1/4 inches thick by 10 feet long, burn high alloy plate up to 4 inches thick, roll pipe coils up to 6 inch I.P.S., roll half pipe jackets up to 6 inch I.P.S., and  polish items of any diameter. The turning rolls can handle weights up to 600 tons and welding capabilities include such processes as SMAW, GTAW, SAW, FCAW and GMAW. The company has fabricated equipment of up to 252" diameter by 150 feet long from thicknesses of up to 5 5/8 inch thick stainless steel, which weighed in excess of 500 tons.
